A Milestone Ahead in Quality

SAPS gains prominence among ground handling operators in Pakistan, by having attained ISO certification in the year 2005 in ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System. Quality certification is a milestone, and is testimony that SAPS lives up to its quality service promise. SAPS operates in a highly competitive environment, and has always been customer focused. SAPS aims to deliver consistent, high quality services to our valued customers, and aim to continually improve on international standard.

SAPS quality planning team in Pakistan facilitated the ISO 9001 implementation project and worked closely with SAPS teams in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar. In a meticulous process that took few months to complete quality policies, systems and operations procedures, control checks, training for one station, and performed the first cycle of internal quality audits. With very different work cultures and operating environments across the four cities, it was a challenge to establish and coordinate a consistent programme.
