SAPS upgrades SITA CUTE NT to Airport Connect OPEN

SAPS in collaboration with SITA installed SITA CUTE NT at three international airports, located in Pakistan, namely, Jinnah International Airport – Karachi, Allama Iqbal International Airport – Lahore and Benazir Bhutto International Airport – Islamabad.

Year 2001, saw the start of implementation of SITA’s Common Use solution, which was completed in 2003. SITA’s Common Use solution is now, being upgraded to it’s latest range of technological hardware and software, known as Airport Connect OPEN. This cutting edge technology offers airlines and airline’s agents facing passenger check-in and boarding, an ideal Common Use platform and IP based infrastructure.
SAPS the sole authorized dealers of Airport Connect OPEN hopes to facilitate passenger and baggage handling staff by this solution’s ability to read and print 2D barcodes and benefit from it’s standardization to IATA’s instructions for barcode compatibility
